Graduate Internship Program GIP 2025–26: Full Overview

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, NGC has issued the announcement for the Graduate Internship Program 2025–26.

This program aims to give young and talented graduates from engineering backgrounds hands-on training and professional exposure.

Internship duration:

  1. ✅ One year (12 months)
  2. ❌ No extension upon completion

This means: The contract will automatically expire after the end of the one-year internship.

Available Position: Development Fellow

There is only one main position offered under this internship program.

Educational Qualification – Who Can Apply?

Before applying, it is very important to check if your qualification matches the requirements of NGC. Applications that do not fit the criteria are rejected without review.

Qualifying Below are:

1️⃣ BE / BSc Engineering

  1. Electrical Engineering

  2. Electronics Engineering

Minimum requirement:

  1. 1st Division / 2.5 CGPA / 60% marks

  2. Must have a degree from an HEC-recognised university

  3. Valid PEC registration is required.

2️⃣ B.Tech (Honours)

  1. Electrical or Electronics

Minimum:

  1. 1st Division / 2.5 CGPA / 60%

  2. The institution must be HEC recognised.

3️⃣ DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering)

  1. Electrical or Electronic Technology

Minimum:

  1. 3-year diploma

  2. 1st Division / 60% marks

  3. The Diploma must be from a recognised Board of Technical Education.

Age Limit – Very Important Condition

Age requirement is clearly specified by NGC:

✅ Maximum age limit: 30 years

Age will be calculated:
Based on the last date of application submission

❌ No age relaxation will be provided in any case.

So, if you are above 30 years of age, then you are not eligible for this internship.

Total Number of Positions Available

Only a limited number of seats will be available, and high competition is expected.

  • BE/BSc Engineering: 54 posts

  • B.Tech (Honours): 25 posts

  • DAE: 11 positions

Monthly Stipend – How Much Will You Earn?

💰 Stipend Details:

Candidates: BE / BSc Engineering
👉 Rs. 40,000 per month

B.Tech (Hons) and DAE candidates:
👉 Rs. 30,000 per month

Eligible Districts – Very Important Rule

This opportunity is not open to all districts of Pakistan.

Only candidates having domicile in the following districts can apply:

Important Terms and Conditions that You Should Know

Before you apply, you must understand these conditions:

  1. ✔ Duration of the internship is fixed for one year only
  2. ✔ Contract will not be extended
  3. ✔ TA/DA is not allowed
  4. ✔ Applicants who had previously been selected as Development Fellows in NGC/NTDC are not eligible for re-application.
  5. ✔ Candidates dismissed from service on disciplinary grounds are not eligible.
  6. ✔Any wrong or incomplete information will result in disqualification at any stage.
  7. ✔ NGC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats
